Integrating the Existential Analyst into professional practice

logo

The Existential Analyst allows professionals to accompany the exploration process their patients carry out within the platform.

Through a voluntary linking system, the therapist can access the Existential Diary and the Existential Memory generated by the patient during their use of the Analyst.

The purpose is not to replace clinical work or the existing therapeutic relationship.

The purpose is to provide continuity of observation between sessions and expand the information available for understanding the process.

I — Why would a therapist integrate this into their practice?

Because therapy happens for one hour a week — and the patient’s life continues outside that hour.

The Existential Analyst doesn’t compete with clinical work: it extends it.

It allows the therapist to accompany the patient between sessions, with genuine continuity of observation,
and arrive at the next session with real material to work with — not just what the patient remembers or decides to share.

It’s the difference between an hour of therapy and a week of process.

II — How it works

01. Generate a linking code

From the Therapist Area, it is possible to generate a unique linking code.
Each code is valid for 48 hours and can be used only once.

02. Give the code to the patient

The therapist gives the code to the patient through whatever means they consider appropriate.

03. Digital consent from the patient

By entering the code within their Existential Analyst account, the patient views the consent document for linking with the professional.

Without this acceptance, the link cannot be completed.

04. Immediate opening of the channel

Once consent is accepted, the link is activated instantly and the patient appears on the therapist’s list of linked patients.

The therapist gains no access to any content until consent has been expressly granted.

III — Consent and confidentiality

The link is always voluntary.

Access to the information requires the patient’s explicit consent, granted digitally within the platform before the linking process is completed.
This consent is recorded and can be reviewed by the patient at any time.

The information shared may include personal content of a sensitive nature, such as reflections, emotional patterns, thought structures, and other elements derived from the patient’s experience within the Existential Analyst.

The use of this information must comply with the professional and legal regulations applicable in each jurisdiction, including the corresponding provisions on the protection of sensitive personal data.

The Existential Analyst does not establish a therapeutic relationship between the parties.
The professional relationship exists independently of the platform

IV — Revoking the link

The link can be cancelled at any time by either party.

Once revoked, the therapist will lose access to information subsequently generated by the patient within the platform.

Control of the link always remains in the hands of the people participating in it.

The Existential Analyst does not establish a therapeutic relationship between the parties. The professional relationship exists independently of the platform.
